The Cambodian coast - we had high hopes as the guide book really bigs it up! All started well passing the sign for 25 cents (12.5p) draft beer, but on closer inspection of the beach itself we discovered it had been taken over by cheesy restaurants and bars - ruining what otherwise would have been a lovely beach. Not to dwelll on this we explored the central town (being productive getting our Vietnamese visa) as well as enjoying the very cheap happy hours - but two nights of heavy drinking were enough for us and so we headed back up to P.P., content with our short but sweet seaside break. We had just one more day in P.P. before our visas started for Vietnam so it was back to markets for more bargain hunting! And of course the obligatory blog writing to keep you guys up to date! Nearly 2 hours of our precious time spent putting it together! Parents we want reimbursing...thanks!
