Noosa - Everglades

Moving up the coast our next stop was the rather smart town of Noosa Heads....shame our accomodation didn't reflect the level of wealth surrounding the area! (We hated the purpose built tourist resort that Noosa is). The one redeeming feature was a 3 day canoe trip into the Everglades which came recommended by georgie from her previous time in Oz. It invloved pretty much being handed a canoe, tent, campstove and a map and being told to do as we please!!! At last some freedom....everyone treats backpackers like they have just left kindergarten!!! We had fantastic weather, made a couple of great friends and generally restored our faith in the East Coast experience! The pictures when we are allowed to plug our camera into a bloody computer should tell the rest of the story!!!
