Fraser Island

I'm sure most people have heard of this as one of the must do trips on the East coast...for those who haven't it invloves renting a Jeep with 8 other random people and go exploring 4x4 style around an island made of sand! what makes or breaks this trip is the 8 other random people as there is not a lot of space to escape them in the back of a Land Cruiser! Turns out we were extremely lucky and got a cool group, even if it did include three young american college Jock (sporty) types who were definitely up for a big piss up!!!! The island itself is pretty much one big beach with a couple of really nice fresh water lakes and home to the native Australian dog...the oh so not very scary "Dingo" (it really does look just like a normal pet dog). We had a couple of really good nights spent camping on the beach playing drinking games with up to 30 other people....very messy!!! and then spent our days sunbathing next to the stunning beaches/lakes and playing endless ball games & frisbee.....not exactly an amazing adventure but bloody good fun!!!
