Taupo...the adventures continue

So not content with white water rafting we got straight on with our next adrenalin activity....this time we thought it would be fun to jump out of a plane at 15,000 ft....this my friends is called skydiving!!!! I've done it before, but Chris was a virgin skydiver....but it made no difference we both climbed into our little pink aeroplane without a care in the World, and cruised on up into the clear blue sky before they opened the door and out we jumped, Chris first! It was as good as I remembered....the best legal buzz in the World! We couldn't stop smiling for ages after....but unfortunately you'll have to take our word for that because yet again they charge a rip off price for the photos!!!
Very fetching!!!
We were on a roll now, so the next day we thought we'd try another one of these great Kiwi sports....this time we flew over rapids in a supercharged JetBoat, getting drenched and jumping almost vertical out of the water!!! Great fun...you just can't get these sort of thrills back home!!! Or at least not for a price you're willing to pay!
Having spent a fortune in the last couple of days we thought we'd put in a bit of training towards the future tramping with a 3hr walk along to the Huka Falls....getting a free feed from the wild raspberry bushes on the way...tasty!
The Huka Falls...unfortunately they don't let you raft over this one!
