New Zealand - Updated 8th Feb with Photos!

We arrived into Aukland at 4.20am after our marathon 36hr journey (flight lasted 12hrs + 24hrs lost in space crossing date line!!). We begun our mission to find some wheels straight away!! So far have sealed the deal on one van only to be guzumped at the last minute, and our now in the process of purchasing another heap of shit....watch this space!!! Do not feel that our travels in NZ will really begin until we get over this first hurdle, but at least the fact that we can speak english with everyone is a huge bonus!!! So far though we're not that impressed with the cost of everything; think these Kiwi's only think their countries cheap cos when they come to the UK they never leave London!! Ok so after 4 days of hunting and being guzumped twice, we eventually found a van mostly thanks to Rob...guy whose van we'd tried to buy on the very first day only to have him sell it to someone else (he'd felt guilty)! He had an eye for good deal and managed to warn us off a couple of vans which we'd been keen on but he'd said would probably not even make it out of Aukland!!! So we're now the proud owners of Maureen ('Mo' for short) a 1985 Ford Ecovan, which was just a bare shell inside! Thanks to Chris and few old pallets she's now kitted out with double bed and kitchen area!!!
