Bolivia - Tupiza (now with photos!)

Having left Mendoza we faced 31hrs of bus travel to our destination, Tupiza, in Southern Bolivia. This is Butch Cassidy country and we were excited about getting to explore the routes of these outlaws. However the weather was not on our side and after 2 days of boredom, including a cancelled trip to St Vincent (town where Butch and Sundance met their maker) due to the road being inpassable from heavy rainfall! However undeterred by this we booked a 'Triathalon' tour for the following day. This consisted of mountain biking, 4x4 tour and more horse riding. This turned into a great day thanks to the perfect weather, the stunning scenery and excellent service thanks to the presence of a Rough Guide writer reviewing the tour with us!!! The following day we set off on our 4 day Salt Flat tour.....
