Matchu Pitchu / Inca Trail

Start of a new Adventure!!!

Our first Inca Ruins of the trek!! Please excuse the bad fashion....like a good girl I bought a sunhat, but being a skinflint I got the cheapest one going....the one no-one else wanted!!!

At the top of dead womans pass, 4200m...the hardest bit of the trail, we were the first up out of our group!! And boy were we knackered!!

View across the Andes, on the third and most picturesque day of our trek! High in the cloud forest!

Waiting at the last check point, 5am cold and wet....torrential rain all night! Our goal of getting to Matchu Pitchu doesn't seem so appealing anymore!
