Extra Photos - Ometepe, Nicaragua

A much needed rest as we continue our ascent through thick jungle to reach the summit of ometepe (1650m). No the whale sat next to me is not Georgie (I havven´t put that much weight on..or at least not yet!!!)










Out of the jungle...but still a long way to go...the smell from the sulphar cloud was pretty disgusting by this point!! The views around us where worth it though, and in the other direction it was blue sky!!!









A last look back after a very long day, but feeling pretty satisfied (not knowing the pain we were to suffer the next few days as every muscle ached!!)
